Education.com Becomes World's First Cat-Based Learning Platform

Apr 1, 2015

Following the new findings on student and feline co-learning from the Research Center of Academic Excellence in Schaumburg, Illinois, Education.com plans to restructure its educational offerings to become a cat-based learning platform. The website is the first in its class to incorporate feline co-learning into its resources.

“The findings from the study were just phenomenal,” stated Education.com’s co-CEO Todd Schwartz. “We’re excited to bring the elements of cat-based learning from the study to parents and teachers nationwide.”

Initial steps for the rollout of cat-based learning products include featuring feline-focused educational materials that will benefit young learners in an academic environment and commissioning new materials that can be used by children and cats in tandem. “We’re focusing first on bringing students worksheets and games with a heavy cat focus, then moving on to creating materials that students and cats can complete together,” remarked Jenny Paradise, Education.com’s Editorial Director. “This would include touch-screen ready games that can be played with both paws and fingers, as well as printables that cater to the motor-development of domestic felines.”

At time of publication, the office manager at Education.com had adopted 26 cats to live at the company’s Redwood City office. They are currently testing the new educational materials in production and serving as inspiration for a series of new feline characters in the company’s Brainzy games for early learners.

Full integration of a cat based learning curriculum is expected to launch this summer.
